I’ve got EASY stamping tips with 5 Lasting Lily cards to show you today! This is one of the most beautiful stamps I have stamped with in a long time. It’s the Stampin’ Up! LASTING LILY set and it’s actually only available as a FREE item between now and March 31st if you place a $100 order.
The Lasting Lily stamp set is a special Sale-a-bration item and is THE BEST one in my opinion!!! The lily’s are gorgeous and the greeting stamps are fabulous. I always struggle with sympathy cards and this set is perfect. You could also switch up the greeting to make cards for other occasions! You’ll see in the video tutorial and in the images below that I made some as sympathy cards, thank you cards, & thinking of you cards!
These flowers are VERY DETAILED and are part of the DISTINKTIVE line of stamps. They are designed to look realistic, almost like a photograph. But, they can be a bit tricky to stamp with. BUT…stick with me today because even if you don’t have this stamp set these tips will help you with other DISTINKTIVE stamp sets as well!

SIP CARD
In the video I made a SIP CARD…..STAMPS * INK * PAPER
Sometimes we get so wrapped up in thinking we need so much STUFF to make cards. I disagree! You can make easy cards – especially with these easy stamping tips – using just STAMPS, INK and PAPER! and then, if you want to step it up a bit, you can still keep the stamping simple but add a few layers, an embellishment, or some ribbon….STILL EASY PEASY
The above card simply uses the Notecards and envelopes….stamp the front, the inside, and the envelope….write a note and put it in the mail to someone! There is nothing more special than going to the mailbox and getting a hand stamped card!
Other Cards with Lasting Lily
These are the cards that I also shared in the video. The stamping is basically the same! I just added some layers and some ribbon! Still easy peasy cards, just takes a few minutes longer to cut everything! I will put the measurements for each below the cards.

I like the card using Grapefruit Grove. I think the color really pops. But I do like all the others but this one stands out for me.
Thank you Jackie for being such a wonderful demonstrator.
Dianne
Thanks Dianne! That’s so kind of you :). I’m so glad you like that Grapefruit Grove color!!
Thanks Jackie. Wonderful and packed with information as always.
I’m so glad you enjoyed this video Larrissa!
Thank you for the video. I am trying to stamp the bow on wishing you well and it is just a mess. Question. Will the ink go back to the middle after you have pushed it to the sides? Grateful for info. 🙂
Lisa, yes, the ink will go back to the middle. Push that excess ink to the sides for stamping that bow and make sure you aren’t pressing the stamp too hard into the ink pad. Sometimes you just need a light tap on the ink pad. I hope that helps!
