I have an easy handmade card to share with you today using the ‘Share What You Love’ designer series paper. Last week I shared information with you about my brand new & improved PAPER SHARE.  If you have followed me for awhile, you know that I absolutely love making easy handmade cards where the Designer Series Paper (DSP) is the main focus.

Designer series papers are so beautiful and you can truly make quick & easy handmade cards that you will be proud of and the recipient will be “wowed.”  LET THE PAPER DO THE WORK is what I like to say!  This week I am going to share several projects with you that do just that–let the DSP DO THE WORK.  It’s called DESIGN IT WITH DSP.  Today I have the first card along with a video:  Design It With DSP – Share What You Love

What is DSP?

As long as we are talking about paper, I thought I would answer a question I get all the time.  What is DSP?  It’s just a shortened nickname, if you will, for Stampin’ Up!’s DESIGNER SERIES PAPERS.  That is just what they call their printed papers–Designer Series Paper.  Since that is quite a mouth full, I always say DSP!

You too can make these easy handmade cards!!  The Share What You Love Designer Series Paper (DSP) is a heavier weight so it works perfectly for the card front.  The small little flowers are actually cut out of another piece of the DSP!  See videos for some “fussy cutting” tips.

Card Recipe for Easy Handmade Card Featuring Share What You Love DSP:

• Tranquil Tide:  5 1/2″ x 5″, scored and folded at 1″
• DSP for front:  5 1/2″ x 4″
• Small DSP on front:  5 1/2″ x 1″
• Inside:  Whisper White:  3 3/4″ x 5 1/4″
• DSP for Inside:  5 1/4″ x 1″

NOTE:  Finished card size is 5 1/2″ x 4. (normally they are 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″)
