One of my favorite ways to make cards is to use Designer Series Paper as the focal point, and just add a stamped greeting. This keeps the supplies needed small, and you can make these cards quite quickly. Today I am sharing an easy card layout that is perfect to use with any papers that you already have. But, I think you might just fall in love with the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper that I am using!
Oh my goodness….. this paper is amazing. The designer actually hand painted on large canvases and then they photographed the paintings to create the paper. It truly looks hand painted and makes beautiful cards. Simply grab your favorite greeting stamp set and add whatever sentiment you want.

You are going to love this easy card layout. And – we are using a complete 6″ x 6″ piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) to ensure that everything coordinates. I will show you how to cut it so that you have your large focal piece on the front, and then pieces left for both the inside of the card and the envelope.
Easy Card Layout Video Tutorial
Are you ready to create? Here is my short video that will show you how to cut the Designer Series Paper to maximize it to have enough for the card front, inside and envelope, with very little waste.
With just a few supplies, you can create this fun easy card layout. All you need is a 6″ x 6″ piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP), a greeting stamp set, and some coordinating card stock. I also added some ribbon for an extra special touch.
All The Details…..

You are going to start by cutting a 6″ x 6″ piece of Designer Series Paper to have enough for the focal point on the front of the card, a small piece for the inside, and enough left for the envelope flap.
Make sure to watch the video to see how to cut it.
