Don’t Miss The Sale

We only have 2 more days of the Designer Series Paper Sale–buy 3, get 1 FREE!  (everyone loves free!). If you have not yet taken advantage of this once a year sale to stock up on your favorite papers, don’t miss the sale and place your order ASAP.  All month long I have shared lots of different projects that were quick and easy cards that featured Designer Series Papers.  This is one of my favorite ways to make cards.  All of the layout ideas that I have shared could easily be made with any paper, so order your favorites and then you are ready to create away!

One of My Favorites – Garden Impressions

Today I am sharing a project from a couple of months ago because it’s the perfect design technique to make 4 cards all at once.  I have used this idea many many times over the years, and thought it was worth sharing again.  It works with any paper and any greetings you have!  Garden Impressions is the perfect pack of paper to do this with because you have floral prints and more abstract designs which makes the “mixing and matching” work perfectly.

Cards In the Video

I absolutely love the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper (DSP).  The cards in today’s video uses 4 different pieces of 4″ x 5 1/4″ and then you cut them and “mix & match” the pieces to make 4 different simple handmade cards.

This is a great way to make 4 cards all at once.  Add any greeting to each one and BAM–done!  Each is a little different, but you make them all at once.

Cutting Diagram

Here is a diagram that shows how I cut each piece of Designer Series Paper.  Cut 4 different pieces of DSP the same way and then “mix & match” them. Remember, each piece has 2 sides so you really have 8 different prints to play around with. (I might make the cuts in a little different order in the video, but either way works!)
