Do you ever struggle when you purchase a new stamp set as to where to start with it and find card making ideas? What and how to create with it?
I want to share with you where to find stamping and card making ideas that will change the way you look at your stamps. THE CATALOG! Yes, the Stampin’ Up! catalog is one of the best resources for where to find stamping and card making ideas. The first thing I do with a new set is open the catalog and copy the samples! I might change them just a little bit, or often I copy exactly. It’s a great way to get your creative juices flowing and to begin using those those new stamps.
Check out these 3 cards. These are my versions of the cards on pages 13 and 45. I changed the colors and the pieces a little, but the whole idea for the cards came from the catalog pictures. Today’s video talks about tips for using the catalog for card making ideas, as well as lots of tips for punching the vases, watercolor them, and stamping the different images.
