I can hardly contain myself to share with you my VERY FIRST ever BLOG HOP. I have teamed up with an awesome group of international demonstrators, from all over the world, to come together to share projects once a month that feature a different Designer Series Paper (DSP.). We are kicking it off with the GARDEN IMPRESSIONS DESIGNER SERIES PAPER. Each of us made a different project to share with you, so make sure to “hop around” and check out all the others. There are links at the bottom of this post to all the other blogs! And please–leave a comment on each, we really do love to hear what you think about our projects!
Blog Hop – Design It With Garden Impressions Designer Paper
Here is my project. As usual, it’s quick and easy and it’s a great layout idea that you can use with any of your papers. All you need is a greeting set and you will be able to make lots of cards.

Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper
This paper comes in a 6″ x 6″ pack and is so gorgeous. One thing I love is that on most of the pieces (there are 12 different pieces, so 24 different patterns) one side is a big bold print, while the other is smaller and more neutral so you can use with a variety of other stamps and products.
Look at how many gorgeous colors are in this paper!
Back to Today’s Project
Today’s project is a simple design that you can do with any papers and any greeting set. I used the Better Together stamp set for all of my cards because it has perfect greetings for so many different occasions. It also has words for the inside and the outside!
Card Recipe:
- Soft Sea Foam: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
- Garden Impressions DSP: 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Whisper White strip: 1 1/4″ wide
- Shaded Spruce strip: 1 1/2″ wide
- Make sure to watch video to see how I cut it to the right length
- Inside: Whisper White: 4″ x 5 1/4″
- DSP: 1″ x 5 1/4″
- All supplies used are shown at the very bottom of this post
I made 4 different cards this way, using different pieces of the paper and just coordinating the colors. This paper collection has so many colors in it, you can mix and match and get beautiful results.
Card Recipe:
- Pacific Point: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
- Garden Impressions DSP: 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Whisper White strip: 3/4″ wide
- Shaded Spruce strip: 1″ wide
- Make sure to watch video to see how I cut it to the right length
- Inside: Whisper White: 4″ x 5 1/4″
- DSP: 1″ x 5 1/4″
- All supplies used are shown at the very bottom of this post
This greeting set worked perfect for my project today because there were so many different “words” for different occasions. You can use any greeting, just cut the white and colored strip to the appropriate width.

Beautiful cards Jackie! and …. I love how you’ve decorated the inside! x
Thanks! I hope you’ll enjoy making these too.
Just FYI, in your email, the links to the other bloggers do not appear. I was only able to see them when I clicked through to your actual page. Not sure if there is a way to fix that.
Thanks, I’ll check it out.
Pretty cards. Love the corner sentiment. Thanks for all the measurements. Enjoy your day!
