Let me show you the best blending brushes for exciting card making and paper crafts that may change your views. You won’t believe your results!  This was my first time using the Blending Brushes and I am hooked.

You will love the 3 hidden gems in the mini catalog that I am going to use today and I am guessing you might have overlooked them.

The best blending brushes are made by Stampin' Up! I used them to color these floral cards in soft pinks and green inks

Designer Series Paper Blog Hop

It’s BLOG HOP time!   This month we are focusing on using the True Love Designer Series Paper and sharing some amazing projects with it.  After you check out my projects, make sure to “hop” around the world and see what my stamping friends have made for you.

These DIY cards were made with black and white printed designer paper and then use the blending brushes for a splash of color on top

The Best Blending Brushes | Video Tutorial

Check out my tips for getting started with the best Blending Brushes.  And, these images are not stamped–they are cut from some gorgeous Designer Series Paper you may have missed in the mini catalog. Have fun with these coloring techniques no matter what paper or stamps you choose!

Check out some of my other videos for coloring techniques too.

There are all sorts of fun coloring techniques you can use. If you don’t have the blending brushes you could use sponges or brayers to apply coloring techniques as I did in this older post.

Card Details:

I used my best blending brushes to add soft pinks to these flower centers before adhering them to the front of my card.

CARD RECIPE:

  • Card Base – Basic Black:  11″ x 4 1/4″
  • DSP Layer:  3″ x 3″

  • Inside – Basic White:  4″ x 5 1/4″

  2. Hi Jackie, You are so right!! I looked at that page and thought of Valentine’s Day and since I’m not a real heart person, I skipped on by. What you have done here has made me go back and look at my catalog differently. Between you and Brandy seems like a gold mine. Thanks for the help. See you on the Creative Retreat.

  3. Aren’t you clever coloring the B/W flowers on that paper. I never would have thought to do that – but I guess that is why we wait every week for all your clever tips.
