Easy Country Flowers Coloring With Stampin’ Blends

Before I discovered Stampin’ Blends, I really disliked coloring. I’m not an artist. I am creative and crafty, but not an artist! So whenever I colored I hated the images because you could see ugly unblended lines. But not anymore! Coloring with Stampin’ Blends is super easy and always has great results – whether you are good at coloring or not. These alcohol markers are amazing, and I’m excited to share with you today my simple tips to color like an artist while coloring with Stampin’ Blends!

Four Country Flowers cards with pink, green, and yellow stampin' blends markers lying on top of them.

To make today’s project I’m creating with the Stampin’ Up! stamp set Country Flowers. When I first saw this stamp set, it didn’t really do much for me. Maybe because I’m not a gardener or capable of keeping flowers alive. But then once I started coloring with Stampin’ Blends and brought these flowers to life, I couldn’t stop creating!

Country Flowers Card Details

Let’s make something a little different today – square cards! I thought the square fit these images better than a full size card. Plus, it’s fun to mix things up every now and then. And this size square can be mailed in a regular card envelope, so no extra postage is needed.

Two handmade cards designed with the Stampin' Up! stamp set Country Flowers that were made to show how easy coloring with Stampin' Blends can be. Both cards have a sentiment that says Best. Friend. Ever.

MEASUREMENTS:

  • Crumb Cake card base: 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • DSP: 3″ x 3″
  • Basic Black: 3 1/8″ x 3 1/8″

I love this Country Woods Designer Series Paper, it works great to stamp and color on and gives that card a whole different look. But if you don’t have it, you could easily make this card with Basic White instead of DSP.
