There are two things I love when I am stamping – quick and easy cards AND fun folds! This diagonal fun fold card is perfect for both of those things! This is a super easy fun fold card that you will want to make over and over! This card does not take a lot of supplies, and you can keep the stamping as simple as you want. Or, if you like more “over the top” type cards, you can still make this basic diagonal fun fold card and then step it up all that you want.
If you have been following along and making fun fold card templates with us, this would be one that you could easily make a template for and add to your collection.

The cutting for this card is super easy with the tips I have in the video. You will want to watch it to see how to first cut the card base at the angle and then how to cut the Designer Series Paper to have the correct angle to fit each of the three panels.
How to Make This Diagonal Fun Fold Card
If you want, grab some cardstock and some Designer Series Paper and follow along with the video to make a fun fold card template. Don’t forget to write the cutting and scoring measurements on the template for easy reference when using the template to make a card.
The products used in this video were available for purchase at the time of filming (the list is below.) If something does not show in the list, it is either retired or no longer available.
Diagonal Fun Fold Card Measurements
In the picture below, you can see how you start with a full-size sheet of card stock ( 8 1/2″ x 11″) and cut it diagonally to create the two card bases. To do this, you simply measure down 3 inches on the right side, and up 3″ inches on the left side – then cut with your paper trimmer.

These card bases are then scored at 3″ and 6 3/4″.
The next step is to cut the pieces of Designer Series Paper for each of the panels. These pieces started out in the following sizes:
- Right side (inside when folded up): 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Left side (front when folded up): 2 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
- Center when folded (backside before folding): 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
Make sure to watch the video to see how I cut the top angle. I have an easy method to share that does not involve measuring!
