Faux Watercolor Technique

This faux watercolor technique is super simple to create and a technique that you can easily use for all sorts of papercraft.

You will love the ‘Amazing Silhouettes’ stamp set; it’s perfect for the faux watercolor technique.

Make sure you catch all the tips I have scattered throughout the video; especially the paper-saving hack!

👉 Are you ready to try the faux watercolor technique? Let me know what you think!

The ‘Amazing Silhouettes’ set has 3 image stamps, so you can choose any other greeting stamp sets you have to finish off your watercolor cards.

I think this image is perfect for masculine card too; would you agree?

I made this watercolor card as a thank you card, but you can easily change the greeting to fit any occasion. I chose to use the ‘Peaceful Moments’ stamp set for my greetings on all 3 cards.

What do you think of these other 2 faux watercolor technique cards? The measurements for both of these are:

  • Notecard
  • Basic White: 2 1/2″ x 4″
  • Early Espresso: 2 5/8″ x 4 1/8″

To give my faux watercolor technique cards a little texture, I ran embossed them with the ‘Textile Embossing Folder’ after stamping on them. It kind of makes the stamped layer look like watercolor paper.

That’s Pinterest-ing!
