How To Make Beautiful & Easy Handmade Christmas Cards

Want to make easy handmade Christmas cards this year? I have the perfect stamp set and instructions to help you to make your cards. This is the perfect design if you like to make quite a few, as there is not a lot of cutting and layering, yet, they look fantastic!

Another reason I love these cards is that they don’t require a lot of supplies. Both of these easy handmade Christmas cards use the same products so you can mix them up when making them. If you are like me, sometimes I get bored with the exact same design over and over!

I know it is just the beginning of November, but Christmas will sneak up quickly so it’s time to get started on our Christmas cards!

There is so much joy when you go to the mailbox and know that someone has taken the time to make you a handmade Christmas card. Let’s flood mailboxes this Christmas season with joy!

This is a project that I featured last year for Christmas card ideas, but I am sharing it again this year because (1) I love the cards, and (2) these are products that are still available. So, this might all be new to you!

Easy Handmade Christmas Cards – Step By Step Video

In the video, I show you how to make 2 easy handmade Christmas cards. You don’t have to be overwhelmed when you make your cards; sometimes keeping them easy and quick is the best way to go! And remember, easy does not mean boring! These cards are beautiful and your family and friends will be thrilled to receive them from you!

Would you like to make the cards that I shared? These are perfect for beginner stampers and card makers, as well as those of you who have a lot to make. This is an easy card design that won’t take you hours and hours and you will easily be able to create a whole stack to send out.

For these cards, I used two different stamp sets – Christmas Season and Christmas to Remember. These are two great sets that combine perfectly together.

Both of the cards use the same supplies, but I cut the layers for the front of the card a little differently on each of them.

  • Card Base (for both designs) – Crumb Cake: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
  • Card shown above:
    • Basic White: 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
    • Real Red: 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″
  • Card shown below:
    • Basic White: 3 3/4″ x 5″
    • Real Red: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
  • Insides (of both):
    • Basic White: 3 3/4″ x 5″
    • Real Red: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″

The only thing different on the bottom card is I also added the ribbon.

    • Hi Isabel! Sorry for my delayed response – been a little busy with the holidays! There are tons of different dies to use with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine! For these cards I used the Seasonal Labels Dies.
