6 Easy Birthday Cards For Kids

I am super excited to share these 6 easy to make birthday cards for kids. I had a blast making them, and I know you will absolutely love making them too! They are easy enough for the beginner card maker, but really, everyone will love making them. But, even better, the recipient will get such a smile on their face when they receive these!

Although at first glance, these look like birthday cards for kids, don’t be afraid to make them for anyone! When I created them, I was really on a mission to make a card for my adult daughter! She is still “my kid” and I know she is going to giggle when she receives her card in the mail!

These cards are super easy to make because the main image is actually cut from Designer Series Paper. Stampin’ Up! outdid themselves with the Zoo Crew DSP because there are so many fun images that you can either cut out with the coordinating dies, or just grab a pair of scissors and do some fussy cutting.

Once I cut out my images, I just came up with some simple card designs using coordinating colored cardstock. Make sure to check out the video to see the cards and how I made them, then scroll down for all the measurements.

  1. Great ideas! Easy to follow videos too. Wish SU would sell an additional DSP that matched this same bundle. Once my paper is gone, it’s not as easy to make “Wow” cards. Especially if this set carries over to the next catalog.

    • Yeah, it’s hard to cut up the paper to use one side and then be missing out on the other side. But now’s the time to stock up on this paper since it’s currently on sale! Then you wouldn’t have to worry about it being gone so soon!
