SIP stamping with my girls is the BEST!!!! A few weeks ago I was ONE HAPPY MOMMA because I got to spend a day stamping with my daughters. This DOES NOT happen very often. Actually it’s been over a year since all 3 of us were together. So, what do you do??? You spend the day making a ton of Birthday cards.
What was super exciting was the fact that THEY wanted to make birthday cards to send!!! Who says technology is taking over our world…..these young adults love to send (and receive) cards–especially hand made ones!!!! So we spent the day stocking them up!
Birthday Cheer Stamp Set
We each took a different stamp set and created a whole stack of cards. Here is Jami making cards with the Birthday Cheer stamp set.
We came up with a simple design and she stamped away…..
Recently Jami and her roommate decided it was time for them to purchase their own stamping supplies. This was their order to get them started to making simple birthday cards.
BIRTHDAY CHEER stamp set is retiring….if you love these cards and want to make them, make sure to grab this stamp set BEFORE May 24th to guarantee availability.
As you can see, she just mixed and matched the pieces and the colors! Perfect birthday card, especially when you want to make a big stack of them.
I have shared a lot lately about SIP STAMPING…..these are almost SIP cards! We used STAMPS, INK, PAPER & a little Baker’s Twine!
And what is stamping without the puppy dogs helping? This my granddog Sage.
Here is the insides of the cards.
Perennial Birthday
Jami’s roommate, Paige, was a FIRST TIME STAMPER!!! We first got her started with a Paper Pumpkin Kit, then moved her into making cards with the Perennial Birthday stamp set. She did amazing and I think we have her hooked!!!
She used the same ink pads, DSP, and notecards. Just a different stamp set and mixed and matched the pieces. (and of course, we needed help from Nila!)
Sorry, did not take a picture of the inside of her cards.
Great job Paige on your first officially hand-made cards!
Notes of Kindness Card Kit
We put Jesi to work making thank you cards with the Notes of Kindness Card Kit. I have previously shared this card kit, so if you’d like to see it, just CLICK HERE.
And the other Granddog had to help also! Meet the newest member of our stampin’ family…..Lucas
Since this post is really all about stamping with my girls, here is the video for this card kit I made a couple of months ago with Jami!
It is so much fun having my girls stamp with me! (and the dogs!)
Sorry that the pictures are not that great, but I just snapped them while we were stamping.
Growing Up as a Stampin’ Up! Kid
As long as I am sharing my girls with you, I thought I would also share this video. We recorded it really for my demonstrator team, but I thought some of you might enjoy it as you have known my girls for a long long time. It’s all about what life was like “growing up as a Stampin’ Up! kid.”
Supplies Used
Here are the supplies we used on all these projects. If you’d like to make any any of them, just click any little picture below to go directly to the online store and order anything you need!
That is all you need to make quick and easy cards, and it’s perfect when you gather with family or friends to sit and make a big stack to have them ready to go as needed! Thanks for letting me share a little bit of my HAPPY DAY with you!

What a WONDERFUL day! It just doesn’t get any better than your girls and their dogs! Thanks for sharing such a treasured memory!!
I’m so glad you enjoyed this Karen! Thanks!!
I truly enjoyed “meeting ” your daughters, as I enjoy all of your videos. Thank you for sharing your stamping ideas and tips.
You’re so welcome Nancy! I’m so happy that you enjoyed this video! Thanks for watching!!
Thank you for sharing your two girls. What fun. I know when my daughter and two granddaughters come we set up and make all kinds of cards. They love it. My daughter actually got me started about 14 years ago. She sold close to my heart then. She scrapbooked and made cards. I was interested in making cards. Then I got started with the local stamping up club. We meet 2 times a month and I love it!!.. i haven’t gotten a card in a store for years. One thing I would love Stampinup to do is make kits for kids. My granddaughters are always going to birthday parties and they also need thank you cards to send. I called Stampinup a few years ago, but nothing yet. My grand daughters love Wink of Stella!! to make their cards sparkle. Well I guess I have said way too much. Thanks again, love your videos.
No! You didn’t say too much at all. I’ll be happy to put your suggestion for kits for kids in the sandbox (that what we call it …it’s like a suggestion box for us demonstrators)–it’s a fabulous idea. Who doesn’t love Wink of Stella?!! Thanks so much for watching!!
How fun! Thanks for sharing your daughters with us. Great cards too. Thanks for the inspiration. I love your cards, they are quick and easy and gorgeous!
It brings a smile to my face to know that you enjoy the cards and inspiration that I share. Thanks so much for watching!
Such a sweet post. Your girls are beautiful!! Nothing better than when a Mom gets to spend time with her daughter(s). Your smile says it all. Awesome SIPs too!
So true Elizabeth! Thanks so much!!
TFS, Jackie! Looks like a really fun time, and the girls’ cards are great!
We had a fantastic time Sue! Thanks so much for watching!
Jackie, thank you for this post and video with your girls. I am a demo and have a skincare business as well as mommy to a 4-year old boy and these was a great inspiration to remind myself why I do my businesses and how I can involve my little one to help me in the business and what he can learn from having an entrepaneurial mama!
I hope that your journey is as fulfilling as mine as been. Yes!! Get him involved and he’ll feel proud to be helping and he’ll learn some skills without even realizing he’s being taught :). Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you for sharing your fun and your daughters. It is truly a small world. I live in Texas and Sharon Armstrong was one of my demonstrators when she lived here. Getting your children involved in what you do is a great thing no matter if it is a business or a hobby.
Thanks for watching….yes it is a small world! Sharon was so wonderful to my daughter when she lived in Arizona.
Loved your video with your daughters. It gives you that warm fuzzy feeling!!
Thank you for sharing!!
Thanks for watching Cindy, it sure was a fun video to make.
Awww, thanks! I’m glad that you enjoyed this!
Loved your video. Brought back many memories.. I was a demonstrator for a couple of years. My daughter assisted me at parties,, and also went to a convention with me. She ended up becoming a demonstrator also. I know exactly how you feel sharing with your daughters. The cards are beautiful.
Thanks Sandy! Sounds like you have great memories with your daughter too!
Hi Jackie. I tried to send a comment earlier it wouldn’t go through. Anyway my daughter assisted me when I was a demonstrator. She also attended a convention in Florida with me.
Loved video, brought back many memories .
Yes, I saw that earlier comment. Have a stamp happy day!!
Jackie, you should be so proud of all you have accomplished. Beautiful family and such a beautiful testament to the stamping Up family?
Thanks Joan!
