Today, I have lots of tips and instructions on how to make a birthday card using Broadway Birthday Bundle. When you open up your Stampin’ Up! catalog to page 68 it screams the color pink.  Well, I am here to tell you that Broadway Birthday does not have to be pink!  This is a fabulous stamp set that can be used for anyone and you can use any colors.

Today I have 2 quick and easy cards to share with you, that are as far from pink as I could make them.  These would be perfect for anyone–even a special guy in your life!  So let’s not THINK PINK only when you look at this fun stamp set!

How to Make a Birthday Card Using Broadway Birthday Bundle Video:

Broadway Birthday Does Not Have to be Pink

Let’s take a closer look at the 2 fun cards and the colors that I used.  Here is the first one:

I really like how this color combination worked together.  These are the colors that I used.

Card Recipe

  • Bermuda Bay:  8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
  • Bermuda Bay DSP:  2″ x 5″
  • Scraps:  Basic Black, Sea Foam Green, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
  • Inside:  Whisper White:  4″ x 5 1/4″
  • All supplies used are shown at the bottom of the post

  • Soft Sea Foam:  8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
  • Soft Sea Foam:  4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Scraps:  Whisper White, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight
  • Silver & White Baker’s Twine
  • Inside:  Whisper White:  4″ x 5 1/4″
  • All supplies used are shown at the bottom of the post

Make sure to watch the video to see how I made the polka dots–hint: two step stamping!  And… you see the texture???  That is the Subtles Embossing folder–MY FAVORITE.  This is my GO TO when I just need “something!”
