Want to feel like an artist? Try this easy watercolor technique using your stamp pads, inks and an Aqua painter. I’ve already shared 2 different cards using the Waterfront stamp set and this technique, but today I had the idea to combine it with the High Tide stamp set. There are stamps from both sets used on this card.
Other Waterfront Cards I Have Shared
If you’d like to see the other cards that I already posted with the Waterfront stamp set, just click the little pictures below to be taken to that post.

Watercoloring Video
Last week I posted a video showing how to do this watercoloring technique. It shows how to make the “mountain scene” card, but this one is made the same way. Just a few different colors and stamps. Make sure you are using the Shimmer White card stock (or watercolor paper.) You want to make sure the colors move around a little bit to give you the watercolor look.
If you are reading this in your email, the video may not show up, so just below click below to go to my website where you can view it.
A Few Important Tips
- Make sure you use Shimmery White Cardstock or Watercolor Paper–I prefer the Shimmery White
- Make sure each color is dry before stamping another color near it

It’s wedding week!!!! My daughter Jessica is getting married on Thursday and I am so excited. It’s a destination wedding and we are actually in the Dominican Republic. Here is my favorite picture from their engagement!!! The next picture I share of this adorable couple will be of “Mr & Mrs!”
I tried to get some ideas ready to be posted before I left, but time just got away from me! So, there won’t be anything new posted until next week when I get home. Be prepared–I might just have to share some wedding pictures!!!
If you email me or contact me this week, I promise to reply or be in touch next week when home. Have a fabulous week, create something pretty–and send it to someone!
