We’re stamping cards with a simple layout idea you’ll love. These fun slim line cards are simple and you can use whatever stamps you have.  I am using the Gorgeous Posies stamp set and the Happy Thoughts stamp set, but the whole idea is to show you how you can use any stamps, ink and paper.

Stamping Cards Details

The 'Happy Thoughts' greeting is perfect for stamping cards in quick steps.

CARD RECIPE:

  • Card Base – Gorgeous Grape:  7 1/2″ x 9″ (score at 3 3/4″)
  • Basic White:  2 1/2″ x 7 3/4″
  • Granny Apple Green:  2 3/4″ x 8″
  • Greeting Piece – Basic White:  3 1/4″ x 1 1 /4″
  • Daffodil Delight:  3 1/2″ x 1 1/2″
  • Inside – Basic White:  3 1/2″ x 8 3/4″
Don't forget to stamp your cards on the inside too!

Don’t forget to stamp the inside and the envelope.

For my envelope I keep it simple and just use a basic business size envelope.  Not the nicest, but when you stamp it, it’s just fine for me. You never knew stamping cards could be so quick and beautiful I bet!

  4. Thanks for all you card designs. I love all and try to copy the same as well. Also, thanks for the paper share as I use those and do not have to second guess the color coordinates. I missed the last paper share but look forward to the next one. I’m hot on the slimline cards at this time. Keep them coming.

  8. Love being able to use a #10 envelope for this card. Simple enough design that even I think I can try, as a fairly new beginner. I have some supplies that my daughter gave me. So, I am slowly learning stamping. She has given me a nice selection, enough to get me started. Thanks for being a great teacher for the older beginner. I also have a great appreciation for the way Stampin Up papers and inks match so well.
