Why Include Card Bases?

I often hear that people purchase “paper shares” and then don’t use them because they don’t have the coordinating colors OR they just don’t know what to do with them.  Never fear, I am here to help you with both of these issues!!!  You will not only have enough coordinating card bases for every piece of paper, but I love to share tons of quick and easy card ideas that use the paper as the “focus.”

At initial glance, this is my FAVORITE.  Might be because I have already made 12 different cards using it!  You are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE this paper and I can’t wait to share all my projects with you in the coming months.

Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP)

This paper is embossed on one side and is stunning.  It is part of the Mosaic Mood Suite of products on pages 118-120 of the new catalog.  But, quite honestly, I like it on it’s one and with other greetings I already have.

Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP)

One word for this paper–GORGEOUS.  It is part of the Magnolia Lane suite of products on pages 36-38 of the catalog.  This is the perfect paper for making quick and easy cards.  Just grab any greeting stamps you have and let the paper do the work!

Don’t Fall Into This Trap

Another thing I hear often is that people REALLY struggle with is thinking that the different Designer Series Papers MUST be combined with the stamp sets shown together in the catalog.  I totally disagree, and honestly, most often use the papers NOT with the coordinating stamp set.  I like to use the paper as the focal point, and simply add some sort of greeting!
