Today’s card template comes to life in three unique ways! The featured project in the video tutorial uses the Stampin’ Up! stamp set Love & Courage, and I’ve also created two additional examples with the Gathering Moments and Label Me Grateful—showing how the same layout can look completely different just by changing the products.

Below you’ll find the card template and measurements so you can easily recreate today’s project. I’ve also included three different card samples to inspire you, along with a full supply list so you know exactly what I used for each design,

TEMPLATE MEASUREMENTS

  • Card Base: 8 1⁄2” x 5 1⁄2”, scored at 4 1⁄4”
  • Layer 1: 3 ¾” x 5”
  • Layer 2: 3 ⅞” x 5 ⅛”
  • (5) strips: ¼” x 5 ½”
  • Focal Layer: any size circle

What are card templates?

Making handmade cards is simple when you use these templates to spark your creativity. Think of them as your “patterns” for designing cards—whether you want something quick and easy or prefer to step it up to any level of creativity.

Template Tips:

  • Adjust the sizes or shapes of the layers to fit the stamps, dies, and punches you’re using.
  • Cut layers from cardstock, Designer Series Paper, embossed cardstock, or specialty papers for different looks.
  • Rotate the template to create either vertical or horizontal cards.
  • Step it up by adding more layers, embellishments, die-cuts, or punches.
