How to Make Candy Boxes For Hershey Nuggets

I have a super cute (and EASY) idea for you today that is perfect for little holiday favors or gifts.  I’m going to show you how to make candy boxes that are the perfect size to put Hershey Nuggets in.

This is an older project and all of the stamps and papers that I used are now retired. However, the video really is all about how to make the candy box and then you can decorate it however you want!

I think you are going to have a blast making these adorable little boxes!  My video will teach you how to make these Christmas candy gifts–careful, they can be addicting.  Simply use different colors and stamps and you can make them for any time of the year and any occasion!

This box fits 8 Hershey Nuggets perfectly.  But you could fill it with any little gift or candies.  But the nuggets are super fun.  And you can wrap them with 1″ x 3″ pieces of DSP to make them even more adorable. How fun would it be to have these sitting at each place setting for Christmas dinner?

Today’s video will show you how simple these candy boxes are to make!  Just wait until you hear how I describe the measurements…curious if any of you use the same word that I do!  If you do, please leave me a comment so I don’t think I am super weird!

As you are watching, remember the products I used are retired, but you can make these with anything! Grab some cardstock and create a box right along with the video.

  1. I use the word “smidgen” all of the time. Maybe it is a Southern thing. My great grandmother and grandmother both said it.

  2. I had to laugh watching your video, because we also use a “smidgen” of things up here in Minnesota where I live. You have a great website! I love your ideas, and you are so creative. Enjoy your reunion with your daughter who is coming home from Korea, and thank her (AND you and your family) for her service and dedication to our country!
