Elegant Christmas Cards to Make That Will Leave You Saying WOW

Want to see elegant Christmas cards to make that will leave you saying WOW?! These card may look difficult to make but they are easy.

These are a little “over the top” for the style of cards I normally make and share, but I thought you’d like something a little different.

If you want to make your own elegant Christmas Cards, you may want to copy these.  The Poinsettia Dies are the star of the show.  I used the Poinsettia Petals stamp set, but only for the stamped greetings. If you’d like to copy these cards, you could use stamps you already have and just purchase the dies.

Elegant Christmas cards are perfect to make this holiday season

More Elegant Christmas Cards With the Poinsettia Dies

These next 3 cards were not designed by me.  I recently was a guest speaker at a demonstrator training retreat that a friend of mine did.  These were cards that were some of the make-n-take projects at the retreat.  It was so fun actually making cards that someone else designed, so I thought I would share them with you.  Tina did an amazing job on these cards.

And as you can see, the card I made in my video used all of the same supplies.  So now, if you like this elegant look, you can purchase just want you need and make these cards up too!

  1. I think this card if beautiful!

I hate the new Stamp-in-up web site. With the old site I could find what I was looking for so quickly and easily. This new site is so hard to use that most the time I just give up.

    • I’m sorry you are finding the new website more difficult Jeannette. I understand how hard change can be. If there is something I can help you find let me know. If you go to my online store you can use the search bar if you know the name or part of the name for the item you are looking for. Also, Stampin’ Up! is here to help you anytime too at 1-800-Stamp-Up.

  2. Jackie. Your style is my style. I like easy and I like to “up grade” too. Thanks for all your ideas…I am still using the ideas from your last retreat.

  3. Hi Jackie, Like the looks of all the cards – thanks for sharing them. You surprised me twice today! You don’t usually skip steps but you never mentioned or even showed anything about that flap piece until the end when it was already cut & folded. And yes, the gold foil looks elegant behind the white but whew! that’s a lot of gold foil going to waste. I’d probably use some of it to cut the sprigs. Somebody or some bodies put a LOT of thought into that poinsettia suite. So beautiful. Thanks again for sharing.

  4. I’ve watched the video, WOW! I love these cards even more. All the fun folds? These would make a beautiful gift of all four cards in a card box made just for these cards. I’m not handy at making boxes, but IK thought I’d search Pinterest, for one. I love giving gifts like this to people whom aren’t expecting a gift. I’ve got I’ve got 32 of these cards to make. I’d better order some more supplies. Thank you so much for sharing with us, I LOVE these cards!

  5. I’ve tried to cut my CS for the 4th card, I’m wondering, should that card base be 11″ X 4 1/4″, instead? I must be doing something wrong, it just doesn’t feel right at 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″. Please check?

  6. I’m so sorry, Thank you so much for not being upset with me. I’ve only watched this video about 5 times. But, I finally get it! I was cutting a different card base. So, I now have 5 cards to a set. It’s not so much a new card as it’s I turned one card base the wrong way. LOL! Thank you again, for understanding. I’m not always this bad when making card bases.

    • No problem! I’m glad you got it figured out. We all make these kinds of mistakes sometimes but now you’ll know for the future. Have a stamp happy day Gloria!!

  7. I realize this was done a year ago, but I just found your site and love the cards. My question is: How would you stand the first one up so it can be displayed? I made it and really love it but no way to display it. Especially if I give it to someone.

    • Some of them will stand up just fine; others can simply be propped up in front of something for support (a vase, propped against the wall…whatever). If you really want, you can buy a card stand like this or even a business card display holder may work.
