Card Making 201, Class 8

In this video class, I (Jackie, an experienced card maker) teach Jesi (my daughter, a beginner card maker) how to make an easy fun fold while using all the different techniques learned through the series. We hope that if you’re also a beginner card maker you can learn alongside Jesi and build your knowledge and confidence as she does.

There’s a lot more information shared in the video class than what’s written below. So make sure to give it a watch to learn everything you need to know to create fun folds confidently!

Fun Fold Card Details & Measurements

When you look for creative fun fold cards to make, you’ll come across many different layouts ranging from quick and easy to intricate and detailed. Which means – there is a never ending supply of ideas to make! Here at Klompen Stampers, we focus on quick and easy card making. Therefore, we keep our fun fold designs simple and easy to make – and that’s exactly what we made today.

This fun fold card starts with a standard size card base, we just scored and folded it different – simple! We added Designer Series Paper to the front panels for easy color and design. Used an embossing folder for the focal layer for some added texture, along with coordinating stamps and die cuts to build our focal image. Colored our focal image using Stampin’ Blends and added a small bow for another simple detail to step up the card. It may sound like a lot of work to create this card, but I promise it’s easy! Make sure to watch the video class to see how quickly it all comes together.

  1. Hi Jackie,
I tried to watch you video of the fun fold card 3 times, each time it goes to an ad and I cannot continue watching. I downloaded so hopefully that will work.
