A couple of weeks ago I shared a technique called SMOOCHING. Today’s cards use that same technique. In case you missed the other post, just click the picture below:
I have been having so much fun with this technique–the ideas are endless! Today I combined it with the HAPPY BIRTHDAY THINLITS for a super fast easy card!
If you don’t know how to do this technique, here is my video showing it:
- Whisper White Card Base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Embossed Whisper White Layer: 5 1/4″ x 4″ (I used Hexagons and Garden Trellis Embossing Folders)
- Watercolor Paper: 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
- Basic Black: 3 5/8″ x 3 5/8″ + scrap for words
For this one I used the Lemon Lime Twist and Emerald Envy Reinkers
For this one I used the Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight Reinkers.
Have you tried this technique yet? If not, I challenge you to try it–it’s a ton of fun and the results are totally different every time!
