How to Make Paper Flowers + Great Gift Packaging Ideas

You will be so happy to learn how to make paper flowers + great gift packaging ideas with the Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia dies.

Now, today’s project is a bit different for me.  I am usually just a “card maker,” but today I decided to venture out and show you some quick and easy DIY Gift packaging ideas with the Good Morning Magnolia coordinating dies.  The dies to make your own paper flowers are part of the set that comes in this bundle, so I thought it would be perfect to use them as we are getting close to kicking off our August Online Stamping Class using the Good Morning Magnolia.

If you like these ideas, make sure to PIN them to your Pinterest account.  Just hover over any of the images and you will get the Pinterest Symbol in the upper left corner to click on to pin!

3 Different Gift Packaging Ideas

This would make the perfect favor for a bridal shower.  Or put a gift card in it for a friend.  The ideas are endless!

For this one I used the KRAFT PILLOW BOXES.  They are a nice study Kraft with fun white polka dots!  The Polka Dot Tulle added the perfect touch!

Mini Pizza Boxes

You could put just about any little gift in these.  They are also coated on the inside so they are perfect for a cookie.  (they are food safe)

I just added a 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ piece of the Magnolia Lane Designer series Paper to the top, then wrapped a 1 1/2″ strip around the box and secured on the bottom.  The “belly band” just slides off to open the box.

Acetate Card Boxes

I use a lot of these to put together a nice little gift.  It’s perfect to package up 3-6 cards (depending on how much layering on them) and give as a gift to anyone. People often ask what I do with all the cards I make?  I often package them up in boxes like this and give to people. Friends, church people, the post office lady, dentist…..and more!  I just love giving a handmade gift like this to someone who can then brighten the day of others by sending them.

  2. Jackie, your flowers turned out great. If you like a little more 3D, curl the bottom petals downward. you can also add larger petals using the balloon punch. Makes really nice larger flowers.
