I often get asked why I call my card templates “templates” and not the more commonly known name “sketches”. So here’s the answer… I don’t know!! But I do know that my templates are just easy card making sketch ideas! I think saying “card templates” became a thing because our card making templates series started after our fun fold card templates series. So the word “template” just stuck!! Sorry, not much of an answer, but hopefully that clarifies a card making template vs. a card making sketch – they’re the same!!
I wanted to help inspire you today to use your 4 new templates from volume 4 that was released earlier this month. By following the measurements written on the templates that Dave made, it was super easy to follow along and create these fun Valentine’s Day cards using the Bee My Valentine stamp set! Card templates, or a card making sketch, are designed to help you try new layouts and designs while using any stamps, inks, and papers. Another Bee My Valentine Card Idea!
Bee My Valentine is a new stamp set in the January – April 2024 Mini Catalog, and I haven’t been able to put it away! I’ve been having so much fun creating cute little bee characters.
I just shared this other Bee My Valentine card on my blog as well. It’s a fun pocket card! And it uses all the same supplies that were used to make the four cards featured above.
