Two Card Layouts For Quick & Easy Cards

I have two card layouts for you today that are standards that I use often. These are perfect card layouts that you can use with just about any stamps, ink, and paper.

I am also using my two favorite die sets on these cards. I love to layer with a die cut focal point as it gives some texture and variety to your card, rather than just cutting straight-edge layers. These notecards are super easy and do not require many supplies. Basically, I just added a great verse from the Courage & Faith stamp set.

4 handmade notecards that include a bible verse on each to send as an encouragement card. All card are made by following the first of two of my simple card layouts.

The first of two card layouts pictured above uses my favorite Note Cards and Envelopes! To make these quick and easy cards I just added some Designer Series Paper, a Basic Black layer, and my stamped greeting layer! Easy peasy and the perfect notecard to write a little message of encouragement inside and send or give to a friend. These would also make a great gift – make one of each and package them up cute to give away!

The second of two card layouts pictured above is all about using Embossing Folders and a simply stamped focal point. Make sure to watch the video tutorial for my tips on coloring with Stampin’ Blends. Plus – these cards all look so much better in person (on the video) than the pictures make them look! An embossed layer gives so much texture to a simple card, it’s a small detail that gives a WOW look.

Two Card Layouts Video Tutorial – Check Out All the Tips!

I have lots of little stamping tips in the video, as well as simple coloring with Stampin’ Blends… let’s take a look!

Did you catch all the little tips to help you make quick and easy cards? These are two great card layouts that I hope you give a try. Grab your favorite stamps, ink, and paper, and start creating. Make a card of encouragement today to pop in the mail to bless a friend!

Card Layouts #1

Here is the first of my card layouts. For this card layout, I feel like the pop of Basic Black on the layer makes everything stand out! For the ink color, I matched it to the color of the Designer Series Paper. And then, just add a simple Linen Bow and you are good to go! The dies used here are called NESTED ESSENTIALS and have three basic shapes, with several sizes of each (perfect for layering). Make sure to check them out – they have quickly become a favorite of mine!

MEASUREMENTS:

  • Note Card & Envelopes (sold in package of 20)
  • Designer Series Paper: 3″ x 4 1/2″
  • Basic Black: 3 1/8″ x 4 5/8″

Card Layouts #2

Here is the second of the card layouts. For this card layout, the color card stock layer is embossed and also layered on top of Basic Black for a pop. Then I used a circle die cut with the STYLISH SHAPES DIES – my other favorite set of dies! I did not use any embellishments or ribbon on these, as I wanted to keep them really simple. Also for this card, I used my Stampin’ Blends to color in leaves and flowers.

  2. Very nice and a way to use up scraps of paper and so easy. I really like that you used Scripture for them too as I make a lot of cards to send out with Scripture for Church, family and friends. Keep up the great week!
