Everyone has a birthday, and everyone loves to receive birthday cards! As a card maker, it’s probably the reason I make most of my cards. I would love to share with you today how to make easy birthday cards that are perfect for the beginner stamper, or anyone who wants to create a stack to have on hand for when they need them.
The Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons stamp set is perfect for quick and easy birthday cards. You don’t need a lot of supplies to create these cards, but they sure turn out adorable!
Just grab some card stock and ink – any colors will do! Besides the card I will make for you today, I also have four others to share where I used the same products, plus the coordinating Beautiful Balloons dies. Another reason I love this stamp set – the versatility! Make simple birthday cards, or step them up with more layers and some die-cutting!
When I was creating these cards, plus the four others I have to share I also used the Bright and Beautiful Designer Series Paper. This paper is perfect for not only birthday cards, but any time you want some fun, bright paper!
Let’s Create This Easy Birthday Card
Here is today’s video tutorial. You will see how quick and easy these birthday cards are to make. Mix and match the colors to customize the card for the person you are sending it to. And remember, this doesn’t have to be for a birthday – it could be to CELEBRATE anytime!
Birthday Card Supplies & Measurements
For this card, I used the Beautiful Balloons stamp set from Stampin’ Up! It also has coordinating dies that I used on the other four cards shown below. If you like this stamp set, when you purchase it with the dies as a bundle you can save 10%

- Basic White THICK Card Base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Basic White: 2 3/4″ x 4″
- Basic Black: 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Designer Series Paper: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
