Beach themed greeting cards are perfect for the summer and you can make these 4 all-occasion cards in minutes. Watch the video
Stamping a watercolor scene on your cards is easy with the Oceanfront stamp set. Just 3 stamps and 3 ink pads and you will have a gorgeous scene. It took me a while to figure out how to stamp these 3 stamps together, but now it’s super easy.
Check out my video to see how easy and fun it is to build watercolor scenes. These cards are sure to delight your friends when they open up their mailbox and have happy mail.

The ideas are endless with these stamps. You can combine the Oceanfront stamp set with any other stamps to create many different watercolor scenes.
Beach Themed Cards – How to Build a Watercolor Scene
It just takes 3 main stamps and 3 colors to create the background. After that, let your imagination soar with what other stamps to add.
I hope that if you have this stamp set my tips help you and if you don’t have it–you now love and want it! I promise you will have fun creating with it.

Beach Themed Card Measurements & Supplies
All 4 cards use the same basic measurements:
- Card Base – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ (I used Crumb Cake and Basic White)
- Stamped layer – Basic White – 3″ x 4 1/4″
- Early Espresso – 3 1/8″ x 4 3/8″

Don’t forget to stamp the inside of your cards. On these, I used these layers:
- Basic White: 3 3/4″ x 5″
- Early Espresso: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
For a complete list of all the colors and supplies that I used, just click the button below. And if you’d like to order any of these items, simply add to your cart to purchase, or save for later.
For this next card I changed the colors to make it more of a hillside type of scene.

and 2 more beach themed cards…. I could play for hours with these stamps creating different watercolor scenes!

I always love your Quick & Easy cards, Jackie. I’ve had all three of these sets just hoping for help getting the courage to move forward with “the making”, rather than “the buying”! Ha!
Celia, I hope this gave you the inspiration you needed!
Dear Jackie,
Love your cards, but you are getting so thin. Are you alright?!
Blessings,
Nancy
I am doing great, Nancy. Glad you like the cards!
Whew!
Take care,
Nancy
Love love these cute cards thanks for sharing
I was so happy to create with these stamps and share the ideas with all of you!
Why can’t I print your cards and recipes anymore? I go to printing and it says 40,000+ copies to print where it should say 4 or 5? I need directions to remember how to and what I need.
I’m so sorry, Dot– I can’t really help with printing issues as everyone has different computer and printer setups and different devices. All the measurements are in the blog post–you can copy and paste them or write them down if you prefer. Maybe there is someone local who can help you with the printing. I’m glad you are enjoying the card ideas!
Love these cards. Such a great project to do with my card loving friends.
Happy to have you as my upline!
Glad you’re a part of our team, Sara! Have a stamp happy day!
Love SIP cards! Thank you for sharing these beautiful ideas!
I really like making the SIP cards too. They are great cards not only for beginners but for when we want cute cards that are quick to make or need to make a lot of cards at one time.
Beautiful cards. I do have both those sets and yet was timid to try the Oceanfront set but you provided so many creative and easy instructions in your video and the blog layouts. I do h ave a question for the inside of the cards what stamp(s) did you use for the water/and/grass. it looks like it is the Oceanfront “Sand stamp” but just used different ink colors? Again Thank you Jackie for your inspiration-you provide everything we need to create
Colleen, the supply list link is in the blog post but here it is again: https://s.tamp.in/s47U8I
Just found your site through Pinterest and am loving going back through all your wonderful tutorials and inspiration! I’m relatively new to SIP cards (I mostly emboss and die cut), but am loving how easy you made it look to create such beautiful ocean/field cards! Can I echo Colleen’s question about the inside of your cards? Did you flip the one background stamp upside down and stamp only part of it on the cardstock to create the illusion of water/grass that looks different yet complimentary to the sand/grass on the card fronts? Or is it a different stamp? The way you decorate the inside as well as the outside of the cards really adds to the elegance! Thanks again for teaching us about cardmaking!
I’m so glad that you are enjoying the ideas and designs I’ve shared here. The “meadow card” is made the same way as the 1st beach card…just different colors used on each stamp. Have a stamp happy day!
Beautiful cards
Thanks so much!
