You can make boxed thank you cards (or cards for any occasion) easily with this method; it only takes a few supplies and about 30 minutes. Whether you make thank you cards, or cards for all occasions, they are perfect to package up to give as a gift.
This would be the perfect “friend” gift, or as a thank-you gift for a teacher. Even though my sample shows “happy birthday” on the box, you could easily change this to anything. It’s all about packaging up notecards in a cute box to give as a gift.
Boxed Thank You Cards + Super Cute Packaging Ideas
Boxed thank you cards (or cards of any type) are a great idea for a teacher gift, or for anyone–chase those winter blues, anyone? These cards are simple to make too.
I love the Stampin’ Up! ‘Butterfly Brilliance’ set for these cards but you can easily use another stamp set of your choice to create your own beautiful boxed thank you cards!

You can make these cards in any color. For my boxed set, I made each one in a different color. I love this layout because anything goes….vary the colors or make them all the same.
Next, add any greeting to the inside and outside of your card and you have a perfect little boxed set of cards to give away.
Boxed Thank You Card Measurements
- Notecard & Envelope (sold in package of 20)
- Basic White Layer: 3″ x 4 1/2″
- Basic Black: 3 1/8″ x 4 5/8″
Colors I used: Highland Heather, So Saffron, Petal Pink & Mint Macaron
The little “speckle” stamp I used was from the ‘Forever Fern’ stamp set.
