2 Winning Card Ideas: The Details

These cards were super easy to make and I love the layout for any papers.  Just add coordinating cardstock and the greeting of your choice.

This winning card idea has 4 inch square pieces of designer paper, one stamp and one greeting.

All you need for this card sketch/layout is (4) 1″ squares of Designer Series paper and some coordinating colors.  Here is the card recipe:

  • Pear Pizzazz:  4 1/4″ x 11″ (or 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″)
  • Whisper White:  3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Shaded Spruce:  3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
  • (4) 1″ Squares DSP
  • Inside:
    • Whisper White:  3 3/4″ x 5″
    • Shaded Spruce:  3 7/8″ x 5 1/8′

All winning card ideas carry the theme on the inside of the card with stamped images.

The second card uses all of the same supplies, except the designer series paper is a bit different.   You will need:

  • (3) pieces of DSP:  1″ x 2″
  • (3) pieces of DSP:  1″ x 1″
This winning card idea uses 3 one inch squares of designer paper and 3 2 inch rectangles.

    • Thanks Jackie, for these great quick and easy cards. I goofed my stamping on the one with the 2” pieces. So I cut off the bottom third and put my sentiment on white and put it on dimensionals below the “6 pieces”. Phew! Saved the card! Thanks again for the great scraps ideas!

  3. Oh Jackie, this is perfect for what I need. Just got word tonight that a friend & her husband both have COVID. With the makings of poinsettia cards all over the dining room table, this will be easy to put together to get to her quickly. THANK YOU! (Great timing!!)
