Today I am bringing back a project from several years ago where I taught how to make any size box. The stamps are all retired, but it really is about the box, not the stamps I used. Besides, I love to share projects that can be made with any stamps, ink, and paper, so this is the perfect project to bring back!
In the video, you will learn how to make any size box. Whether you want it to fit a set of notecards, or full-size cards, or even little mini cards – you can make it with this easy box-making method.
When I first shared this project, I was so excited about it because I love wine!!! And I have a lot of wine-loving friends. So I made up these little cards and created the box to put them in. I think I gave several of these boxed sets for Christmas that year!
I hope you like this project because it will teach you how to make any size box so that you can give some cute gifts too!
The video has an added bonus – I show you how to make envelopes for this little square card! So, even if you don’t love wine like I do, or you are sad that you can not get these stamps any longer – I hope you learn from the video–I promise it’s filled with tons of ideas and tips!!!!

Let’s Take a Close Look at the Cards
I made each of them a little different so that I could give as a set as a gift. I love to give hand-made gifts, and cards are always perfect. That way the recipient can use them and have fun sending them off to their friends! It is kinda like a “double gift!”
I colored these cards with my Stampin’ Blends–quick & easy and amazing results. Stampin’ Blends are alcohol markers and are my absolute favorite way to color. They give “artist results” without being “artsy!” They are truly quick and easy to use and you always get great results!
Card Measurements:
- Whisper White: 8″ x 4″, score & fold at 4″
- Colored Embossed Layer: 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
- Wood Textures Designer Series Paper: Circle cut with Layering Circle Framelits
- Basic Black: Scalloped Circle cut with Layering Circle Framelits
- Basic Black Scraps: for greetings
- Envelopes are made from Medium Sized Envelopes & a 2″ x 4 5/16″ piece of Wood Textures DSP (see video)
and they all fit in this cute little box….
