A Greeting Card Video To Prove Men Can Stamp Too
I don’t have much to share about this card, other than if you want some good laughs…watch his greeting card video!

I do think we might have some “stamping lessons” coming up soon!
Disclaimer: Stampin’ Up! DOES NOT endorse using a hammer with your punches!
Where is the Greeting From?
Yes, it’s current (otherwise he would have really been in trouble.) It’s the greeting set that comes in the all-Inclusive Card Kit on page 202-203 of the new catalog. This kit was in the catalog last year and I have used these greetings a lot! So many great words. AND, I loved the cards in the kit too!

He is hilarious. Love a man with sense of humor.
Great job, Dave! Nothing like breaking it down to the basics. Thanks for my first belly laugh of the day!!
Thank you for giving us a good laugh and for you wonderful card. My husband liked the video too and he is always moaning at me about the dimentionals that I leAve everywhere
You’re husband is so funny! My husband would probably use a sledge hammer…more space to put the stamp on…lol.
What a way to start off my Monday morning by a good laugh! Jackie, your husband is one awesome stamper and I especially loved how he brought in his tools to help get the job done! Will definitely be sharing this with my hubby! Thanks again and Dave….keep up the awesome work! Can’t wait for the next video! 🙂
Oh my gosh!! Absolutely hilarious!! Best card making demonstration ever!!
Dave, That was an awesome video! Most men I know are afraid to walk in their significant other’s craft room much less actually make a card! Great job!
Great way to start my Monday! Loved that he used a hammer to mount the stamp and also to tap on the punch to punch out the sentiment. Very entertaining!
What a great way to start the day! Dave is definitely a keeper!
Loved the video! Showed my husband, but warned him that hammers are not approved. He thought it was great. Lucky me, I don’t have precut supplies laying around.
LOL…glad you two enjoyed it Trudy!
Dave, you are too precious for words. I loved watching your video.
Dave is a real gem. And there are so many other tools that can be used for stampin. Thank you Dave, keep up the good work. You prove anyone can stamp. A great sense of humor too.
LOL! How fun, and the card looked good. I did like the hammer as a stamping tool, the best.
Loved your card Dave. My husband would have used Duck Tape. He used Duck Tape on everything!
Great idea with the mallet for the stamp. My arthritis makes stamping with those little blocks hard they should have a handle on them!
Dave, I loved your demonstration- tools and all. Your glue choice was over the top! I guess my stamping space is unsafe now- if I show this to my hubby. I look forward to the next card you make.
Well, that was one of the funniest stamping videos I’ve ever seen. Delightful and very creative. The fact that he used the carpenter’s pencil, square, and tin snips to cut one edge of the DSP was hysterical! Tim Taylor (Tool Time’s Tim Allen) has nothing on Dave! ?
LOL I just loved watching this video! Thanks Dave you are a good sport.
Dave, what a great job of using your tools for a beautiful card. You really “cracked me up” with what you used!! Especially your adhesive! You might have a new career!!
Hilarious, Dave! But, you got the job done perfectly !! Keep up the good work!
Good job Dave! A manly job using manly tools! Hilarious video – I would love to see Dave make another card – A Star Is Born!
Dave, I so enjoy your perspective on card making! You bring your talents to the art for sure! You & Jackie make a super team! Keep your ideas for creativity coming!!!
Dave, This is hilarious. I have to admit my heart stopped a few times when you brought out and used the hammer! Love your sense of humor. Jackie is going to have to put a lock on her craft room door!
Everything survived! He was warned to not break anything.
Way to go Dave!?
Glad you enjoyed.
Great card, Dave! Your technique for measuring the Designer paper was awesome!!
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for watching.
Loved your card Dave, You made it look so quick and easy. Not sure about all those tools
though.
Thanks Nona, I told him he better not break anything.
Great card, Dave. My husband thought the video was very funny! Great job!
Thanks Hilda!
Oh Dave you are a hoot! Love that you love your wife’s business and have such a great sense of humour!! Keep on Stampin bud !! Love your videos! Make me laugh every time!!
Thanks Shel! I’m glad this brought you a chuckle!
Dear Dave,
You are tooooo much LOL…
My husband and I have a machine shop here in Central Oregon and we had all the guys in my office watching your video.
Thanks so much for the laughs and great tips as well.
Carolynne and Ray and crew
Carolynne, Ray & Crew….You ABSOLUTELY made my day hearing that y’all watched this! I’m so glad you were able to share the laughs with us!! Thanks so much for watching!!
Deep down inside I think he really loves to stamp …lol
Oh….I think so too!!
My husband heard me laughing out loud and had to know what it was all about. He says Dave has the right idea. Now if I can’t find a stamp set, I’ll have to look on his work bench! Hi from my hubby Dave to you Dave!
LOL…I LOVE it!! Thanks so much for watching!!
Great card Dave, I really appreciate your instructions and tips! I’m going to have to remember that stamping “block” for when I don’t have an acrylic block handy. 🙂
Absolutely! Best “block” ever made and it does so much more. LOL
Dave will be holding his own classes soon!
That would be a HOOT!
hysterical!!!
but . . .
am more determined than ever that my husband will NOT be invading my card room to make me a card !!!!
LOL. Well, maybe try giving him a few supplies in his own space and asking him to show you what he can do OUTSIDE of your craft space. Ha!
love love love Dave’s stamping techniques lol
I will be sure and let him know, Willa! Thanks!!
Dave, you are just too funny!! I can totally see my husband using your “stamping tools” to make a card. I don’t dare show him the video or there is no telling what my craft room will look like when I get home from work!
You are a keeper!!!!!!
LOL. I say, ‘Give the man a chance’! Hahahaha
Loved the card and Red Green would too!!
I loved this! The right tools just make the job so much easier. I think I’ll raid my husbands shop for a few!
You are AWESOME!!!!
Thanks so much for watching AJ!!
What a Hoot! My husband and I laughed out loud! We really laughed when Dave used the hammer to punch out the greeting! Using caulking to glue the DSP was funny too. Your stamps will never be the same! What a great husband.
He’s a keeper for sure! Glad you both gout a laugh out of this and had some fun with us! We’ll wait to see what Dave does on his next video!
That was awesome! He needs to come back and share more of his “tips”. That video gave me a great big chuckle before I head off to work this morning!
I’m so glad you got a chuckle out of this! Thanks for watching!!
Good job, Dave! I will have to show this to my husband. He will no longer buy me a commercially made card. He tries to make me a card from my various scraps. It’s time he learned from you, that he can do better.
Yes, Dave loves sharing his skills and talents! Thanks for watching and I hope that this encourages your husband to step it up for you.
I loved it! My husband uses lots of tool, also. Not that I would allow him in my craft room with any of them. But he proved you can use different “TOOLS” to get the job done. I love your videos and have pinned all of them. Thank you for sharing them. You have inspired me to order more products from SU. Pam Hayes
I’m so glad you enjoyed this Pam! Happy Stamping!!
