Dave is at it again with a greeting card video…..I left the house and he invaded my stamp room!  This time he hauled out his tool belt!!!  But at least he MADE a card and did not just ALTER one of mine!

A Greeting Card Video To Prove Men Can Stamp Too

I don’t have much to share about this card, other than if you want some good laughs…watch his greeting card video!

I do think we might have some “stamping lessons” coming up soon!

Disclaimer:  Stampin’ Up! DOES NOT endorse using a hammer with your punches!

Where is the Greeting From?

Yes, it’s current (otherwise he would have really been in trouble.)  It’s the greeting set that comes in the all-Inclusive Card Kit on page 202-203 of the new catalog. This kit was in the catalog last year and I have used these greetings a lot!  So many great words.  AND, I loved the cards in the kit too!

  3. Great way to start my Monday! Loved that he used a hammer to mount the stamp and also to tap on the punch to punch out the sentiment. Very entertaining!

  4. Great idea with the mallet for the stamp. My arthritis makes stamping with those little blocks hard they should have a handle on them!

  5. Dave, I loved your demonstration- tools and all. Your glue choice was over the top! I guess my stamping space is unsafe now- if I show this to my hubby. I look forward to the next card you make.

  6. Well, that was one of the funniest stamping videos I’ve ever seen. Delightful and very creative. The fact that he used the carpenter’s pencil, square, and tin snips to cut one edge of the DSP was hysterical! Tim Taylor (Tool Time’s Tim Allen) has nothing on Dave! ?

  9. Dave, This is hilarious. I have to admit my heart stopped a few times when you brought out and used the hammer! Love your sense of humor. Jackie is going to have to put a lock on her craft room door!

  12. My husband heard me laughing out loud and had to know what it was all about. He says Dave has the right idea. Now if I can’t find a stamp set, I’ll have to look on his work bench! Hi from my hubby Dave to you Dave!

  13. Great card Dave, I really appreciate your instructions and tips! I’m going to have to remember that stamping “block” for when I don’t have an acrylic block handy. 🙂

    • LOL. Well, maybe try giving him a few supplies in his own space and asking him to show you what he can do OUTSIDE of your craft space. Ha!

  14. Dave, you are just too funny!! I can totally see my husband using your “stamping tools” to make a card. I don’t dare show him the video or there is no telling what my craft room will look like when I get home from work!

    You are a keeper!!!!!!

  15. What a Hoot! My husband and I laughed out loud! We really laughed when Dave used the hammer to punch out the greeting! Using caulking to glue the DSP was funny too. Your stamps will never be the same! What a great husband.

  17. Good job, Dave! I will have to show this to my husband. He will no longer buy me a commercially made card. He tries to make me a card from my various scraps. It’s time he learned from you, that he can do better.

    • Yes, Dave loves sharing his skills and talents! Thanks for watching and I hope that this encourages your husband to step it up for you.

  18. I loved it! My husband uses lots of tool, also. Not that I would allow him in my craft room with any of them. But he proved you can use different “TOOLS” to get the job done. I love your videos and have pinned all of them. Thank you for sharing them. You have inspired me to order more products from SU. Pam Hayes
