SIP Cards: Made With Just Stamps, Ink & Paper

I used the SIP card method to make this handmade thinking of you card purple flower stamped on white cardstock.

Card Recipe:

  • White Note Cards & Envelopes
  • Basic White:  2 1/2″ x 4″
  • Basic Black:  2 5/8″ x 4 1/8″

Don’t forget to stamp the envelope and the inside of your cards.

The SIP card method is so quick that you have plenty of time to decorate the inside of your card.

SIP Card Method Stepped Up:

If you want to do a little more, you can step up this card by adding the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and the Classic Label Punch.

Step up the SIP card method by adding a layer of embossed cardstock.

  1. Thanks for the SIP reminder and to look just at the stamp sets. I’d lost sight of this one and it’s now on my list of “want to haves”! I really enjoy your videos and approach to cardmaking.

  3. It is always good for seasoned card makers to go back to the basics. You shared some wonderful tips that over time I had forgotten. Thanks for reminding me of them. Great Cards! Simple to extravagant and beautiful!

  4. Thank you so much. I bought this when it came out, but had not used it. It intimidated me because two step stamping has not been my friend in the past. I also felt like all the cards I saw were too busy or crowded, with DSP, flowers, twine, etc.—this design lets the stamps show through. I love them a lot.
