Slim line cards are easy to make and they are all the rage right now. Let me show you with this card video how to get started.
Slim line cards are a different sized card that I what I normally make. Over the years I have made this sized card several times and they are always a favorite. You’ll see why everyone’s making these once you view them!
Variety IS the spice of life and combine that with an awesome design and that equals success every time in my book.
The overall size of the card is 3 3/4″ x 9 and fits perfectly in a regular business sized envelope. You could make an envelope, but that is just something I typically don’t; I made sure my card fit in an envelope I had.

Beautiful Autumn Additional Projects Post/Video
I love these autumn cards and I didn’t think I would be able to make them until they made envelopes to fit them – wow, now I don’t have to wait. Love everything about th4e cards – the layout, the colors, etc. Another great video.
Thanks! I’m so glad you enjoyed these cards, Dot!
I am intrigued with slim line cards but at a loss as to what to do with them. Your layouts are varied and within my abilities. Thank you so much.
As for the commercial envelope, it wouldn’t take much to line the inside with some coordinating DSP. I don’t like the security paper either.
Thanks, Hope. Have a stamp happy day!
Hey, your slimline cards are lovely! I especially like the last one with the brown panel. I have made a few Christmas cards with the slimline format. This size of card is fun to make and gives me more space to write a message. Does Stampin’ Up have any slimline dies or stamps?
Hi Pam, Stampin’ Up! has tons of stamps that can be used. We do not currently have any ‘slim line’ dies but plenty of our dies can be used on slim line cards.
Your cards are always so clean and simple – truly beautiful and I like how you always include the measurements and breakdown of product
thank you
Thanks Yvonne – that makes me smile. Glad you enjoyed these!
Oh I love these Jackie! I must say I’ve not made a slimline card for ages! Now I must give it a go!!
Go for it!
Beautiful cards!
Thanks so much Amanda!
