My stamp room renovation is finally complete, so today I thought I would give you a new craft room tour. And while we do that, I will also show you how I store and organize all my different products.
New Craft Room Video Tour
I hope you don’t get dizzy watching, but I tried to walk around and give you a tour and show you my new craft room along with my organization and craft storage solutions.
Here are a couple of pictures from when we were just starting to do the renovation. I wish I would have taken more!
New Craft Room! Check it Out
After each picture I will try to give you information about my different storage items and things in my room. Remember, many things are 20+ years old, so I might not have the information any more.
I will start here and work my way around the room. As you can see I have great cupboards and a nice huge counter top. This is “kitchen” height is perfect for working standing up.
Check out my gorgeous tulip paintings. A dear friend and neighbor of mine is an incredible artist. I love LOVE her paintings, so when I decided to redo my room, I contacted her and finally purchased a couple or her paintings. They look so good in my room and they go with my “theme” and business name! These paintings are so inspiring to me. You can see Alla’s work HERE.
One of the big improvements to the old cabinets were these drawers that Dave installed. Why did I not do this years ago? These are perfect for my new craft room! There was so much wasted space and now I can be so organized! He purchased them at Menards, but I am sure you can find at any home improvement store.
Designer Series Paper Storage
In the bottom drawer I store my 12″ x 12″ and 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Papers.
The 12″ x 12″ is stored in these file boxes that I have had for ever and ever…..
Each package is put into a paper file that I found on Amazon. See them HERE.
I also found some 12″ x 12″ holders on Amazon if you are interested. See them HERE.
The 6″ x 6″ papers are stored in this box from Stamp-n-Storage. The clear envelopes are from Amazon, however, they are currently not available. They are made by Avery Elle and are the EXTRA LARGE STAMP & DIE STORAGE (6 3/4″ x 9 3/8″). I cut the top down so they are not so big and they fit perfectly in this box.
New Craft Room Tour: Punch Storage
All of my punches are in the top 2 drawers. You see one in this picture, and then the other is to the right on the other wall. Here you will also see the drawer with all the clear blocks.
As we turn the corner and look at the other wall, you will see more of these fabulous drawers. They hold just about everything! (I opened several in the video.)
What I love is having everything right there next to me when I am stamping.
This is what the ribbon drawer looks like. I used adjustable drawer dividers to make them fit just like I wanted.
My favorite wall. Here you can see the stamp shelves that Dave build for me to fit my stamps perfectly. They are alphabetical and if they have dies, the dies are just to the left of the stamp set.
On the right side you can see how I store my ink pads and Stampin’ Blends. I love the Stampin’ Up! sorage. I was able to customize it to just the right size to fit my counter and all the products I have. You can check out these products HERE.
From this angle you can see where I film my videos, as well as my adjustable table in the center of the room. Under the table is my filing cabinet where I store all of my cardstock.
And finally, the other end of my room is my “office” area.
And there you go…..a peak into where I spend my days!
Now, it’s time to get back to creating some projects so I can make some more STAMPING videos for you.
