What is a “No Peek Gift Bag?” It’s a super fun gift packaging idea that I have been sharing for years. It makes packaging up your gifts to look pretty so easy and I love showing you how to make a no peek gift bag because you’ll use this all year round.
Do you struggle to get tissue paper in a gift bag to look pretty? I sure do! It ends up being “shoved” in the bag and a mess. So, the no peek gift bag idea was born and it’s the perfect solution! A gift bag and card in one!
You basically make a greeting card and then cut a slit in the top so that you can place it over the handles of your gift bag. You’ll love this idea and how EASY it is.
No Peek Gift Bag Video Tutorial:
Let me show you how to figure out the size of your card, how to cut the top so it fits your no peek gift bag and how to make this bag look extra special. It’s a Christmas craft or ANY time craft that is simple and fun!
Check out my other gift ideas too!
I love that when you need to package up a gift, you can first make a pretty card, then just add to the top of your bag. Just like that, you have a beautifully packaged gift for someone.
Make sure to check out my video to see how easy it is to turn your card into a No Peek Gift Bag Topper.
This idea can be done with any card. Whether it’s a Christmas gift, birthday gift, wedding or baby gift…. just make your favorite card design and add to a gift bag!
If you want, add a tag and some ribbon to decorate your bag. The ideas are endless.
My samples show a variety of different cards. I think I might even show more than I have pictured here in the video.
This is certainly a “timeless” idea that never gets old. I hope it helps you with your upcoming Christmas gift giving packaging.

Hi Jackie. I’m so glad I found you and all your ideas. I don’t need a demo at this time. I’m fortunate to have mine living a few doors down the street. Very convenient for me and her. I just wanted to let you know that I can’t get the link to work to post this idea on Facebook. Has anyone else had issues? I’d really like to share your idea.
Hmmmmm, I’m so sorry. I checked the link and it’s working for me. Thanks for trying to share!
Great idea. I’m tissue challenged too. Thanks for the inspiration.

This is so great. Thank you Jackie.
You’re welcome! Have a stamp happy day!
I’m tissue paper challenged as well. Great idea and so easy. Thanks for today’s inspiration.
Ugh…the tissue paper is not my friend but this bag IS! HA! Glad you enjoyed this!
Love this idea Jackie ! And I was thinking ,my grand kids love opening parcels but love getting gift cards so why not smaller bags and make the cards top folds ,pop in their gift card and small treats and bingo ! The card could be a bit smaller but that’s a choice thing .
Sounds like a great idea! Enjoy making them!
