Did you know that you can learn how to make an easy fun fold card with designer paper?! It’s not often I think to use Designer Series Paper (DSP) as the base of a card, but that’s exactly what I did today. This fun fold card is super easy and shows off those pretty papers you have; I don’t want you “hoarding” those and this is a perfect way to make cards and showcase the lovely designer paper!
We are using the Come Sail Away suite of products on pages 144-146 of the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. One new feature in the catalog this year is if you like all the coordinating products you can order them all together with just one item number! EASY BUTTON all the way! And you will love all these products!
BUT STOP…..DON’T ORDER YET!!!! (wait until July 1st!)
On July 1st I will be opening up my July Online Class and it uses this suite of products! When you place an order between July 1st and 10th, using the special ONLINE CLASS HOST CODE that I will share on July 1st, you can get my class for FREE! This class will have 6 projects that have both a PDF Tutorial and an additional 6 bonus projects! That is 12 tutorials in all. So, make sure to come back on July 1st for all the details!
Easy Fun Fold Card Video
Today is all about the easy fun fold and the card I have to share. Everything I use is part of the Come Sail Away suite, so if you purchase it for the Online Class, you will also be able to come back here and make this card!
If you are reading this blog post in your email and the video is not showing up, just click the picture below to go directly to YouTube to view it.
Make sure to watch the video to see how I scored and folded my paper to make the card.
I used a 5 1/2″ x 12″ piece of Come Sale Away DSP and scored at:
- 1 3/4″
- 4 3/4″
- 7 3/4″
- DSP: 5 1/2″ x 12″
- Whisper White: 2 3/4″ x 4″
- Balmy Blue (or Night of Navy): 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Scraps: Whisper White & Soft Suede
- Inside: Whisper White: 4″ x 5 1/4″
