Welcome back! Today I’ve got some big shot tips that make die cutting a breeze for Dear Doily part 3.  It’s been a fun week sharing all different ideas and ways to use this stamp set, and now, today it’s time to bring in the coordinating dies.  But, unfortunately shortly after creating my cards for this week and filming the videos, the Doily Builder dies sold out. The layouts for these cards are so fabulous that I still wanted to share them with you.  The stamp set is gorgeous on its own, and for a coordinating die set I highly recommend the EASTERN MEDALLIONS THINLITS. So see?? You CAN still make these cards!!!

2 For One

Today’s main project is a “2 for one.”  You actually make both greeting cards at the same time.  Simply die cutting and inter-changing the pieces.  You would easily do this with the Eastern medallions Thinlits instead of the Doily Builder dies.

Change the Colors

Once again I made my cards in both color schemes to show how different they look when you just change the colors.

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base:  8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
  • Top Layer:  5″ x 3 3/4″
  • Middle Layer:  5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″

Make sure to check out the video for all the details and instructions.

So Many Ways to Use the Dies

There are so many ways to use the dies.  Check out the video for details on both of these cards.

Dear Doily Part 1

Did you miss the post on Monday where I showed SIP CARDS?  I just used STAMPS, INK and PAPER.

Dear Doily Part 2

Part 2 was how to “step it up” by adding a few things to your cards.

I hope you have enjoyed this 3 part series using the Dear Doily stamp set and coordinating dies.  Most of the supplies today are the same we have used all week, with the addition of these.  If you’d like to place an order, make sure to use my REWARDS CODE to earn FREE products (see info below)

SPECIAL NOTE: Shortly after creating my cards for this week and filming the videos, the Doily Builder dies sold out. The layouts for these cards are so fabulous that I didn’t not want to share them with you.  The stamp set works perfectly on it’s own like with today’s cards, and if you want to add a coordinating die set, I highly recommend the EASTERN MEDALLIONS THINLITS as an alternative.
