Today I have a gorgeous Designer Series Paper to share with you that has some beautiful prints that look like photographs of flowers. I’m sharing two simple greeting cards using Petal Promenade DSP.
Talk about easy cardmaking, all you have to do is add a greeting! My last post was more masculine cards, today it is definitely for the females in your life. You can add any greetings with these papers, but I used the Beautiful Promenade stamp set that coordinates with the papers.
These card design ideas can be tailored for just about any occasion from birthday cards, thank you cards, thinking of you, get well cards, and many more! Today’s quick cards are just another example that simple greeting cards are beautiful!

Petal Promenade DSP
Here is a look at all the prints in this package of paper. These papers are 12″ x 12″ and the package comes with 12 sheets, 2 each of 6 prints for a total of 12 different designs.
Simple Greeting Cards with Petal Promenade DSP
For both of these cards I simply let the paper do all of the work! Even the greetings are stamped on a piece of the Designer Series Paper.
Simple Greeting Cards-Petal Promenade Recipe- Card #1:
- Petal Pink: 11″ x 4 1/4″, score and fold at 5 1/2″
- Whisper White: 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″
- Petal Promenade DSP: 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ + 2″ Circle punched from DSP
- 1/4″ Calypso Ombre Ribbon
- Inside: Whisper White: 4″ x 5 1/4″

The stamps I used are called Beautiful Promenade. They coordinate with the paper and have some great greetings. I know I will use the greetings especially a lot!
Simple Greeting Cards-Petal Promenade Recipe- Card #2:
Card Recipe:
- Blushing Bride: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
- Whisper White: 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″
- Petal Promenade DSP: 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ + oval cut from DSP using Layering Oval Framelites
- Early Espresso scalloped oval, also cut from Layering Oval Framelits
- Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon
- Inside: Whisper White: 4″ x 5 1/4″

I used the Stamparatus on the inside to make the diamond pattern. Boy did that ever make it simple!
Subtle Embossing Folder
Once again I used the Subtle Embossing Folder. It makes the cardstock look like “textured cardstock!” This is my new GO TO embossing folder!
