Today’s Designer Series Paper cards feature the Tranquil Textures package of DSP.  This prints are fun and can be used with any stamps.  Perfect for quick and easy cards where you just want to add a greeting and be done!  I also added a little Linen Thread for an extra touch.  Today our Design it with DSP – Tranquil Textures is an easy layout that you can use  for any papers.  Simply grab your paper and a greeting set and stock up on some quick and easy cards.

Design it With DSP – Tranquil Textures

Here is a look at all the prints in this package of paper.  These papers are 12″ x 12″ and the package comes with 12 sheets, 2 each of 6 prints for a total of 12 different designs.

Quick and Easy Cards

Both cards use greetings from the stamp set called Another Wonderful Year, found on page 21 of the 2018 Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog.  I simply used my Layering Oval Framelits and my Big Shot for some quick and easy cards with tranquil textures designer series paper.

Card Recipe:

  • Soft Sea Foam:  11″ x 4 1/4″, score and fold at 5 1/2″
  • Fresh Fig:  4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Tranquil Textures DSP:  3 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ and 1 1/2″ x 3 3/4″
  • Scraps of Tranquil Tide, Soft Sea Foam & Whisper White
  • Linen Thread

Card Tips:

  • Stamp greeting on scrap of Soft Sea Foam using Tranquil Tide and then cut out oval shape with Layering Oval Framelit
  • Cut next size bigger scalloped oval, adhere 2 ovals together
  • Stamp again on scrap of Whisper White and cut out with scissors the “another wonderful year” part and adhere to oval using Mini Dimensionals
  • Attached DSP to Fresh Fig layer, then double the Linen Thread and wrap around and tie into bow
  • Adhere ovals over Linen Thread using dimensionals

  • Whisper White: 4″ x 5 1/4″
