The other day I shared a little of my adventures in Missouri helping Jami get settled….  We finally finished the tables, so thought I would share how they turned out.

I was a bit nervous to paint the old tables from our house, but it turned out to be so easy and they turned out so cute!

We used Valspar Chalky Finish Paint from Lowes.  We started by roughing up the finish a bit with a sanding block.  Did not have to take all the finish completely off, just roughed up.

We then used a sponge roller where we could, and then a brush to put on 2 coats of the paint.  It covered the wood so good–I was amazed!

Then we finished up with 2 coats of the Valspar wax coating finish.

I love how they turned out!!!

From this….

To this….

Forgot to take a “before” picture of this one…

I know this wasn’t stamping related, but it’s a little peak into what I have been doing the past week.

Stay warm friends, it’s COLD out there…..

Have a stamp happy day,
Jackie
