Recently I have had quite a few people contact me wanting more information about PROJECT LIFE.  Most of the questions center around…….what is PROJECT LIFE??  And what is so special about it???

So, I had planned on writing a blog post talking about just that….WHAT IS PROJECT LIFE???

But,  just yesterday (before I sat down to write) I received my copy of the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator magazine called:  STAMPIN’ SUCCESS…..and there was a whole article addressing WHAT IS PROJECT LIFE…..  and they say it so well, I just thought I would copy parts here from what Stampin’ Up! wrote…..

PROJECT LIFE–IT’S ABOUT YOUR LIFE

A NEW BACK-TO-BASICS MEMORY KEEPING SYSTEM
Get ready for a scrapbooking revolution with Project Life!  It helps busy people (so basically all of us) document life using photo’s and journaling in a quick, simply, and fabulous way.  We’ve partnered with Becky Higgins, creator of Project Life, to offer a complete line of elite products.  Beck explains, “It’s called Project Life because it’s about YOUR LIFE.  Whatever your life is.  Whatever your stage of life.  Whatever your family circumstances.  Whatever your lifestyle.  Project Life is designed to help anyone and everyone get their pictures into a book.”

HOW DOES IT WORK?
It couldn’t be simpler; slip photo’s, mementos, coordinating cards, and journaling into an album with Photo Pocket Pages.  That alone will give you  fabulous results (no scissors or glue required!)  If you want to do more, you can embellish your photos or cards with accessories or stamps.

WHO’S IT FOR?
We’ve all heard people say scrapbooking takes too much time.  You’ve probably had that thought yourself a time or two.  That’s why Project Life works so well for all of us. It’s quick and easy and has a fresh approach.  And for those who don’t do simple, you can embellish to your heart’s content.  So, in a nutshell, Project Life is for everyone–the scrapbookologists, the timid, and the skeptical.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:
No one does high quality crafting and coordination like Stampin’ Up! and our Project Life products are up to par.  These include albums, pocket pages, card collections, accessory packs, Framelits, corner rounder, stamps, and journaling pens (all sold separately)

Our Project Life albums come in 2 sizes:  12″ X 12″ and 6″ X 8″.  The bigger size works well for everyday documenting, creating a baby or wedding album, or documenting your family history since there’s lots of space for pictures, cards and journaling.  The 6 X 8 album is great for documenting events with fewer photo’s such as graduation, vacation, or highlighting an event to give as a gift.  You’ll want to fill your albums with photo’s and pocket cards.  Cropping your photos is a cinch when you use the Cards & labels Project Life Framelits Dies with the Magnetic Platform and Big Shot.  Our card collections have squared corners but with the Project Life Corner PUnch you can choose to have them either way.  If you want to step up your photos and pocket cards, just use the photopolymer and rotary stamps for easy placement and our accessory packs for complete coordination.

Thank you Stampin’ Up! for doing all the writing for me…….

Now, I bit more from me…..

Project Life products are also available in digital from for My Digital Studio.  This is primarily what I have decided to use for my memory keeping.

I am creating a 2 page spread each week of just the ‘happenings” from the week.

Just my ordinary life….

I have been trying to share some of them on my FACEBOOK page….

Here are the pages from last week:

This is so fast and easy using My Digital Studio….it only takes me about 10 minutes each Sunday night to do the week!

You will have also seen pages on my blog from Kim–she is one of my downline and is fabulous at Project Life.  She has actually been doing “Project Life” for a long time, so needless to say, was super excited when Stampin’ Up! announce we were partnering with them!!!

Each week Kim shares here on the blog her pages….

WOW–this got long, but just wanted to share more information with you about Project Life.

If you’d like more info, or help to get started, let me know.  I would be happy to help!!

Have a stamp happy day,
Jackie
