Are there ever times when you use an Embossing Folder for the base of a card, put it all together and then think, “Where do I put the sentiment?”  Well I have the perfect technique for you to try!

On this card I wanted to stamp “Many THANKS” on the card base so I just embossed and left a strip of the Crumb Cake cardstock smooth instead of embossed!
Here’s how I did it…

First you will emboss part of your cardstock (for my card that was about 3/4 of it).  Then you will turn your cardstock around, leave a space (as pictured above) and emboss the bottom half of the cardstock.
Here is your Sandwich (from bottom to top):
#1: Multipurpose Platform
#2: Cutting Pad
#3: Embossing Folder with Cardstock
#4: Cutting Pad

Here is what the cardstock looked like after the first run through the Big Shot.

And here is what it looked like after the second run through the Big Shot.
Here is a close up of the look that you are trying to achieve!  So simple and a great way to get that sentiment on the front of your card!
